JOB REPORTS TO:

PURPOSE OF JOB:
The job is to perform duties to include but not limited to in house machine work, repairs, and upgrades to customer’s machinery and to repair used or manufacture new components per drawings and procedures.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:
This job requires a basic knowledge of several categories they are as follows.
- Minimal working knowledge of the manufacture and assembly of close tolerance turbo machinery components.
- Minimum of Two (2) years of experience working around machinery.
- Requires manual dexterity and ability to operate manual machines, tracer lathes, mills, some CNC machines to manufacture precision parts with supervision.
- The ability to work with close tolerance equipment under supervision from other machinist, Lead Man or Foreman.
- Some mechanical experience required for resolution of equipment problems and recommended repairs.
- Requires proficient verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Must learn to complete documentation and written reports
- Must learn to read drawings and blueprints and accurately read precision measuring tools.
- Ability to understand and comply with regulations and processes in the repair procedures
BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in shop repairs and machining operations. Learn to manufacture new components per drawings, sketches and verbal instructions with supervision. Requires attention to detail with very few reworks, rejections or scrapped parts
- Coordinate and work closely with Foreman, Lead Machinist, Planner and QA/QC to ensure special repair requirements are met
- Preparation and packaging components for safe shipments. Learning to debur, hone, polish, and cleanup parts after machine operations
- Capable of operating saws to cut stock materials
- Organize and maintain an efficient clean machine shop area
As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for a wide variety of opportunities in the in our service department. From researching and quoting future potential service opportunities, to being the design lead on multiple service projects where you will be responsible for developing and carrying out repair solutions. Responsible for shifting priorities to support other urgent unplanned work or help support our team with repair challenges. You will have the opportunity to be part of an experienced service repair team, in which you will learn, collaborate, develop, and execute a variety of repair solutions. You will also have direct collaboration with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with a highly experienced, motivated team of specialists to apply expertise and broaden experience in all aspects of turbomachinery,
- Ability to influence existing product designs and new design standard methodologies by providing valuable aftermarket feedback
- Sensitivity to factors that may have commercial and/or manufacturing consequences
- Support the services business with creating inspection plans, reviewing findings, developing repair plans, supporting shop repairs, and writing reports for existing equipment,
- Lead and/or support reverse engineering projects by performing calculations, ensuring drawings are issued to required dates, and completing tasks within allocated budgets
- Provide mark-ups and information to direct drafting personnel so that they may correctly revise existing engineering drawings and/or create new engineering drawings
- Provide technical instructions to the field in support of installation or troubleshooting activities
- Support field service engineers and customers in forced outage recovery programs and root cause investigations.
- Communicate and convey ideas effectively to peers, suppliers, and customers, and deliver technical presentations to customers and management
Experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer preferred
- 8+ years of turbomachinery engineering experience
- Design experience with strength of materials, structural analysis and machine design. Ability to design using finite element analysis tools
- Knowledge and experience in design and, or repair of products
- Minor travel required
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from accredited university/college
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally, in writing, and in technical presentations to customers or management

We are looking for a highly skilled assistant Controller to perform a variety of accounting and finance related activities. The candidate would ideally have prior experience working in an industrial manufacturing & service environment and is a hands-on finance leader. Key responsibilities range from supervising business transactions (i.e. – purchasing, cash receipts, cash disbursements activities) to maintaining accurate general ledgers of business activities and financial results.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of three to maintain accurate general ledger of plant accounting activities including:
- report / reconcile / analyze inventory activity throughout the month
- plant cost center reporting and analysis
- capital spending reporting
- manage daily A/P processing and cash application activities
- manage weekly A/P disbursement process
- support annual audit, including physical inventory taking coordination
- coordinate plant requirements with respect to the budget and forecast processes
- supervise Credit and Collections staff and monitor Accounts Receivable
- Manage monthly closing activities including:

Required Skills & Abilities:
- Accounting/Finance Degree required
- CPA a plus
- 10+ years experience, prior manufacturing / cost accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills, attention to details
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls
- Strong computer skills - proficient in excel, word, access database, power point; comfortable working with other systems (Quickbooks experience a plus)
- Experienced in implementing and transitioning to an ERP System
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports

- ASNT-SNT-TC-1A NDT Level II inspection certification in MT, PT, UT required.
- 5+ years of experience performing UT, MT, and PT inspections.

- 3+ years of experience using a CMM.
- 3+ years of experience in interpreting engineering schematics and drawings.

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process PO requests to qualified vendors for quotes for service, product, and material purchases
- Oversee contract agreements with vendors
- Research and locate items for purchase for jobs. Finding out availability, deliveries, specifications of items, and substitution of available items
- Assist Sales Department in pricing of materials to prepare quotes
- Research old job histories and purchasing histories for information and provide support for sales and jobs in progress
